The Wharfedale EVO 5.2 speaker stands are custom-engineered, heavy-duty floor stands designed to complement the large EVO 5.2 3-way bookshelf speakers both acoustically and visually.

Because the EVO 5.2s feature a large cabinet (housing a 6.5-inch woofer, soft-dome midrange, and AMT ribbon tweeter), generic stands often lack the top-plate surface area and weight capacity to hold them securely. The official EVO 5.2 stands address this directly.

Design & Acoustic Performance

• Custom Footprint Matching: Standard universal stands often have top plates that are too small for the wider, deeper footprint of the EVO 4.2 and 5.2 cabinets. These official stands mirror the base dimensions of the speakers for a flush look and balanced center of gravity.

• Resonance & Isolation: The high-mass steel construction prevents low-frequency sound energy from transferring into floorboards. This tightens up lower-midrange response and cleans up bass bloat.
• Integrated Cable Routing: The hollow vertical uprights allow speaker cable to run internally from the floor plate to the top plate for clean wire management.
