Informations
Description du produit
The Atoll DAC200 Signature is a high-end digital-to-analog converter and digital preamplifier designed and handcrafted in France by Atoll Electronique. It updates the legacy DAC200 with higher-grade conversion chips, upgraded power regulation, and expanded high-resolution file support.
Core Architecture & Audio Design
Atoll emphasizes analog circuit layout over relying solely on digital processing.
-
DAC Chip: Uses ESS Sabre ES9028PRO processing (32-bit/768 kHz capabilities).
- Class-A Analog Output: Uses discrete, feedback-free components polarized in Class-A, avoiding cheap integrated op-amps in the critical analog section.
- Power Supply Setup: Features three independent linear transformers (two dedicated specifically to the audio path) with multiple low-noise voltage regulators and MKP link capacitors.
- Native High-Res File Support: Handles up to PCM 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD64, DSD128, DSD256, and DSD512 natively via asynchronous USB.
