The Atoll ST200 Signature is a high-performance, French-designed audio component that functions as a 3-in-1 Network Streamer, DAC, and Analog Preamplifier. Built with audiophile-grade architecture, it is designed for listeners who want direct access to high-resolution digital streaming without sacrificing natural analog tonality.

Core Specifications & Audio Design

  • Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC): Utilizes a Burr-Brown PCM1792 DAC capable of processing PCM files up to 24-bit/192kHz and native DSD (DSD64 and DSD128).

  • Class-A Output Stages: Features discrete-component output stages biased in pure Class A without negative feedback, delivering a warm, dynamic, and fluid sound signature.
  • True Preamp Functionality: Unlike standard streamers with digital-only attenuation, the ST200 Signature uses an analog switched-resistor volume control. This volume control can be bypassed if you want to use it strictly as a fixed-level source into an integrated amplifier.
  • Power Supply: Uses dual linear power supply transformers (30 VA + 10 VA) to isolate digital processing from the analog audio paths, supported by 27,000 µF of filter capacitors.
  • Display & Build: Housed in a rigid steel chassis with an 8mm brushed aluminum front panel and a 5-inch TFT color display that shows artwork, metadata, and track resolution.

Streaming Capabilities & Software Compatibility

  • Native Streaming: Integrated support for Qobuz, Tidal (including Tidal Connect), Spotify Connect, Deezer, Amazon Music, and HighResAudio via the ATOLL Signature 2 app.

  • Wireless & Multi-Room: Includes Apple AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, UPnP/DLNA network streaming, and access to over 100,000 Airable internet radio stations.
  • Third-Party Ecosystems: Fully Roon Ready and compatible with Audirvāna.
