Key Technical Features
- Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+). This is the highest grade of copper in this series. It has an ultra-smooth surface to minimize distortion and "harshness" in the sound.
- Double-Balanced Asymmetrical. It uses separate paths for the ground and shield, which results in a quieter background and better dynamics.
- Foamed-Polyethylene. Air-filled foam is used because air absorbs almost no energy, preventing the "out-of-focus" sound caused by cheaper insulation.
- Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation (NDS). This system helps prevent radio frequency interference (RFI) from affecting the ground plane of your equipment.
- Cold-Welded, Gold-Plated "Purple Copper". Instead of solder, which can distort the signal, these are pressure-joined (cold-welded) for a cleaner connection.
