Product description
The SR125x is known for its energy and speed. Grado uses a lighter voice coil here than in the SR80x, which allows the driver to react faster to signals.
Mids: This is the star of the show. Vocals and electric guitars have a "bite" and presence that makes rock, jazz, and acoustic music feel like a live performance.
Highs: They are crisp and detailed. While the "X" series has smoothed out some of the piercing treble found in older Grado models, they are still "bright" headphones.
Bass: It is tight and punchy but not deep. If you are looking for "sub-bass" that rattles your teeth, these aren't for you. However, the bass is more controlled and textured than the lower models.
