The Rega Ania is Rega's entry-level Moving Coil (MC) phono cartridge. Designed to lower the cost barrier to moving coil playback without sacrificing signature MC speed and detail, it borrows heavily from Rega's higher-end Apheta and Aphelion designs.
Design & Engineering

PPS Body: To keep costs lower than the precision-milled aluminum bodies of the Apheta series, Rega engineered a high-rigidity polymer body made of 40% glass-filled Polyphenylene Sulphide (PPS).
- 3-Point Mounting System: Built for seamless integration with Rega tonearms, its three-bolt fixing automatically sets overhang and tracking alignment without alignment protractors.
- Micro-Coil & Suspension-Free Design: Uses an ultra-low-mass, hand-wound micro cross generator with neodymium magnets. Like other Rega MCs, it eliminates traditional rubber tie-wire suspension to maximize transient speed and long-term durability.
- Stylus & Cantilever: Fitted with an elliptical diamond stylus mounted on an aluminum cantilever.
