The Rega Apheta 3 is Rega's flagship mainstream low-output moving coil (MC) cartridge, sitting just below their ultra-high-end Aphelion 2. Designed and handcrafted in the UK, it was developed alongside the Planar 8 and Planar 10 turntables.

Fine-Line Nude Diamond Stylus: Replaced the elliptical profile of earlier models, tracking deeper into record grooves to extract micro-details and reduce inner-groove distortion.
- Ultra-Light Generator: Uses a tiny iron cross coil assembly that is half the size of the original Apheta. The lower moving mass improves transient response and agility.
- Rigid One-Piece Body: Housed in a CNC-machined anodized aluminum body with a smoked protective cover over the fine wires.
- Three-Point Mounting: Includes Rega’s signature 3-point mounting system for alignment on Rega tonearms (though standard 2-point mounting is also supported for other brands).
