1. The Source: Silent Angel Munich M1T

The M1T is a streaming transport (or bridge), meaning it does not have an internal DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter). Its sole job is to pull pristine digital audio from your network, Tidal, Qobuz, or local storage, strip out noise and jitter, and pass it along.

• The Fit: Because the M1T is purely digital, you will want to connect it to the Quad 3 using a high-quality USB or Coaxial cable. This allows the M1T to hand over a remarkably clean signal to the Quad’s internal DAC.

2. The Hub: Quad 3 Integrated Amplifier

The Quad 3 handles both the digital decoding and power. It features an excellent ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M DAC chip and outputs 2 x 65W into 8 ohms (and 100W into 4 ohms) of Class AB power.
