The Atoll AM300 EVO (AM300 Evolution) is a high-end, dual-mono stereo power amplifier handcrafted in Brécey, Normandy, France by Atoll Electronique. Positioned directly between the AM200 EVO and the flagship AM400, it succeeds the previous AM300 Signature with refined audio circuitry, improved component matching, and updated protection systems.

Dual-Mono Power Supply: Features two 440 VA toroidal transformers (one per channel) plus a dedicated 5 VA transformer for control logic, providing complete separation between channels to minimize crosstalk.

Filter Capacitance: A total capacitance of 83,600 μF ensures substantial instantaneous current delivery for complex dynamic peaks and difficult bass loads.

Output Stage: Utilizes a triple push-pull MOS-FET configuration (6 MOS-FETs per channel) biased in Class A/B, combining high speed and low distortion with a natural, slightly warm sonic signature.

Stability & Regulation: Employs bipolar transistors and LED current sources for voltage stability. The audio stage has been reworked in the EVO revision to remain stable and insensitive across complex capacitive loads.

Circuit Boards: Custom double-sided PCBs treated with a nickel/gold finish, paired with shielded MKP coupling capacitors to isolate low-level signals from stray interference.
