Informations
Product description
The Atoll PH200 is a standalone, high-end phono preamplifier handcrafted in France by Atoll Électronique. Designed for vinyl enthusiasts, it acts as a dedicated bridge between your turntable and line-level amplifier, offering dual-mono architecture and class-A circuitry to handle both Moving Magnet (MM) and Moving Coil (MC) cartridges.
Key Architectural Features
-
Dual-Mono Power Supply: Uses two low-noise toroidal transformers (one per channel) completely isolated in a shielded steel enclosure to block magnetic radiation and parasitic noise.
- Class-A Audio Stages: Entirely discrete components with low global feedback. It operates without coupling capacitors in the signal path, which minimizes phase distortion and yields higher transparency.
- Audiophile Components: Uses silver-mica capacitors in the RIAA equalization stage to deliver natural timbres and a huge filter capacitor array for exceptional power supply stability.
- Durable Build: Features an 8 mm brushed aluminum front panel (available in black or silver) with anti-vibration chassis damping.
