- Solid 5% Silver Conductors: High-frequency digital signals primarily travel on the surface of the conductor (a phenomenon known as the "skin effect"). By plating the core with a thick layer of 5% silver, the cable achieves near-silver performance for digital data at a fraction of the cost of a solid-silver cable.
- 5-Layer Noise Dissipation: Standard shielding often dumps radio-frequency (RF) noise into the "ground" of your equipment, which can cause jitter and distort the sound. The Carbon's 5-layer system uses alternating layers of metal and carbon-loaded synthetics to absorb and reflect this noise before it ever reaches the ground plane.
