The KEF R2 Meta is a high-performance, 3-way center/LCR (Left, Center, Right) channel speaker designed to deliver pristine dialogue, precise soundstaging, and seamless tonal integration within home theater setups.

Highlights & Performance

• 12th Generation Uni-Q Driver Array: Places the tweeter directly at the acoustic center of the midrange cone. This coaxial setup eliminates off-axis phase cancellation, giving the speaker exceptionally wide, even dispersion so listeners outside the central "sweet spot" hear identical dialogue clarity.

• Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT): A maze-like structure positioned behind the tweeter that absorbs 99% of unwanted rear sound waves, drastically reducing high-frequency distortion for cleaner, smoother treble.
• Sealed Cabinet Architecture: Because it is a closed-box design without rear ports, the R2 Meta can be placed inside an AV cabinet or close to a back wall without boomy bass buildup.
• LCR Versatility: Though primarily used as a center channel, its symmetrical layout and wide dispersion allow it to be positioned horizontally or vertically to serve as main Left/Right speakers in tight spaces.
