Monitor Audio’s 2nd Generation (2G) Installation Amplifiers are a major overhaul of their custom install lineup, designed specifically for professional home theaters and multi-room audio.
Unlike standard consumer hi-fi amps, these are "smart" rack-mounted units featuring Class-D amplification, high-voltage power sharing, and a sophisticated web-based setup.

Power Sharing: This is the standout feature. It allows the amplifier to dynamically shift power between channels. If one zone needs 200W while the others are silent, the amp can deliver that peak power to a single channel without needing to bridge outputs manually.
- Web Configurator: You don't need a physical remote. You access the amp via a web browser on your network to configure EQ, signal routing, and power limits.
- DSP (Digital Signal Processing): All models include pre-configured profiles specifically tuned for Monitor Audio speakers (like the Cinergy or Architectural lines) to ensure they perform optimally out of the box.
- 70V/100V Support: All models support high-impedance lines, making them compatible with long-run commercial or "landscape" garden speaker systems.
