The Monitor Audio Bronze 50 7G is the most compact bookshelf speaker in the 7th generation of the celebrated Bronze series. Design & Build Quality
The 7G update isn't just a facelift; it includes several technical trickle-down features from the more expensive Silver and Gold series:
- UD (Uniform Dispersion) Waveguide: This newly designed surround on the gold tweeter improves time alignment and widens the "sweet spot," making placement less finicky.
- C-CAM Drivers: The signature Ceramic-Coated Aluminum Magnesium drivers are lighter and more rigid than traditional paper or plastic cones, resulting in faster response and less distortion.
- Cabinet Finish: They come in four modern finishes: Black, White and Walnut. The 7G features a cleaner, more minimalist aesthetic with magnetic grilles and a contrasting baffle.
