Pearl USB features high-purity Long-Grain Copper conductors and a Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation for the most efficient dissipation of radio-frequency noise.
Core Technical Features
While a standard USB cable focuses on simple data transfer, the Pearl is engineered to address "jitter" (timing errors) and radio-frequency noise that can affect audio quality.
- Solid Long-Grain Copper (LGC) Conductors: Unlike standard cables that use stranded copper, the Pearl uses solid-core conductors. This eliminates "strand-interaction distortion," which is a primary source of signal degradation. The Long-Grain Copper used has fewer impurities and grain boundaries than standard oxygen-free copper.
- Hard-Cell Foam (HCF) Insulation: The cable uses nitrogen-injected foam insulation. Because nitrogen (like air) does not absorb or release energy, it minimizes the "out-of-focus" effect common in cheaper plastic insulations.
- Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation System: This technology "shields the shield," capturing and reflecting radio-frequency interference (RFI) before it can reach the ground plane of your audio equipment.
- Directional Conductors: Every Pearl cable is tested for directionality. Small arrows on the connectors indicate the optimal signal flow to ensure noise is drained away from the most sensitive components.
