Product Description
The speaker’s "ultra-quiet" construction is achieved through Point 2 Point™ bracing, which stabilizes the cabinet walls to eliminate distortion. This is paired with Dual Gelcore™ technology, designed to absorb high-frequency vibrations and dissipate them as heat. Additionally, the high-performance drivers are de-coupled from the enclosure, working in harmony with the crossover to deliver an expansive, wide-dispersion soundstage.
Perhaps the most striking feature of the Concept 300 is its dedicated stand, which is typically included with the speakers.
Tensegrity Structure: The stand uses a "tensegrity" (tensional integrity) principle—a tripod design consisting of load-bearing stainless steel rods held in place by thin, tensioned stainless steel cables. This results in a stand with an extremely low surface area, which minimizes sound reflections and vibrations.
Isolation Base: The speaker does not simply sit on the stand; it is coupled via an Isolation Base Suspension System. This is a sprung baseplate that suspends the entire mass of the speaker on four springs, effectively decoupling the speaker from the floor and the stand.
