Informations
Product description
The Q Acoustics M40 HD is a unique "micro-tower" powered speaker system. It’s designed for people who want the scale and "oomph" of floorstanding speakers but don't have the space (or desire) for massive cabinets and a separate stack of amplifiers.
Key Features and Build
-
"Micro-Tower" Size: At only 71cm (28 inches) tall, these are significantly smaller than traditional floorstanding speakers, allowing them to fit into tight spaces without looking imposing.
- Powered (Master/Slave) Design: One speaker contains the electronics and 200W of Class D amplification; it connects to the second "passive" speaker via a standard speaker cable.
- C3 Continuous Curved Cone: These use Q Acoustics' latest driver technology (borrowed from their high-end 5000 series), designed to provide the bass punch of a straight cone with the midrange clarity of a flared cone.
- Cabinet Tech: Features P2P (Point to Point) bracing to reduce cabinet vibration and HPE (Helmholtz Pressure Equaliser) technology to eliminate internal standing waves that can muddy the sound.
