The Q Acoustics Q-Sub100 is a 10-inch active subwoofer from the high-performance Q SUB series. It is designed to sit in the "sweet spot" of the range—offering more power than the compact Q-Sub80 while remaining more room-friendly than the flagship 12-inch Q-Sub120.

It is particularly well-suited for medium-sized rooms and is designed to partner with Q Acoustics’ Concept and 5000 series speakers, though its flexible DSP makes it compatible with almost any system.

The Q Acoustics Q SUB100 is the mid-sized entry in the brand's new high-performance active subwoofer lineup, launched in early 2025. It is designed to bridge the gap between small bookshelf setups and large home theaters, featuring a 10-inch driver and a sophisticated sealed-box design.

Core Technologies

Infinite Baffle (Sealed) Design: Unlike ported subwoofers that can sound "boomy," the Q-Sub100 uses a sealed cabinet. This results in tighter, faster, and more controlled bass, making it excellent for both critical music listening and cinematic impact.
Advanced DSP: The onboard Digital Signal Processing manages system gain automatically. It can detect whether the input is stereo or mono and adjust itself to ensure the best signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range.
Parallel Bridge-Tied Load (PBTL): The custom-designed amplifier uses four digital power stages in a PBTL configuration. This setup improves efficiency, reduces heat, and provides superior control over the driver to keep distortion below 0.1%.
Room Integration: It includes fine delay adjustments, a phase inversion switch, and an adjustable low-pass filter (40 Hz – 250 Hz), allowing you to blend it seamlessly with your main speakers regardless of where it’s placed in the room.
