Product description
The Rega Aethos is a high-end, purely analogue integrated stereo amplifier designed for listeners who prioritize musicality, timing, and dynamic drive over digital features. Positioned above the long-running Elicit series, it distills much of the performance from Rega's flagship Osiris amplifier into a single chassis.
Core Specifications & Engineering
-
Power Output: 125W RMS per channel into 8Ω (156W into 6Ω).
- Topology: Dual-mono design featuring a discrete Class-A preamplifier stage paired with a low-impedance Class-A driver stage driving high-current Sanken Darlington output transistors.
- Chassis & Weight: Housed in a custom, heavy-duty aluminum chassis weighing 17.5 kg (38.5 lbs).
- Connectivity: Strictly analog. Includes 5 line-level RCA inputs, a dedicated tape loop, preamp out, direct power-amp input (for home theater bypass), and a high-quality 6.35mm (1/4") headphone output.
