The Rega Aphelion 2 is Rega's flagship low-output moving coil (MC) phono cartridge. Designed as a state-of-the-art component, it was created specifically to complement high-end turntables like the Rega Planar 10 and the flagship Naia.

• Fine-Line Stylus: Uses a "nude" fine-line profile diamond rotated 90 degrees to optimize mounting stiffness and detail retrieval.
• Micro Iron Cross Generator: Features an ultra-low-mass coil assembly wound on a micro iron cross, powered by a high-strength neodymium magnet. Reducing generator weight allows the stylus to trace groove variations with minimal resistance.
• Zero-Tolerance Body: The chassis is a single-piece, black anodized aluminum body machined to strict tolerances to eliminate unwanted mechanical resonance.
