The Rega Ania Pro is a mid-range low-output moving coil (MC) cartridge. Distinctive by its vibrant red translucent body cover, the Ania Pro is popular as a factory-fitted option on Rega’s Planar 6 and Planar 8 turntables.

Vital Profile Nude Diamond Stylus: The most critical upgrade over the base Ania (which uses an elliptical stylus) is the Vital nude diamond. Its fine line profile tracks deeper in the vinyl groove, drastically improving high-frequency detail retrieval while eliminating sibilance and inner-groove distortion.
- PPS-Fortron Body Construction: The housing is injection-molded from Polyphenylene Sulphide mixed with 40% glass. This material offers rigid, non-resonant structural stability while keeping mass low.
- Ultra-Low Mass Generator: Uses Rega’s custom micro-coil assembly hand-wound onto an iron micro-cross, powered by high-strength neodymium magnets.
- Rega 3-Point Mount: Features Rega's proprietary 3-point fixing system. When mounted on a Rega tonearm (like the RB330 or RB880), alignment and overhang are set automatically without requiring alignment protractors.
