Product description

Experience cleaner, clearer, more naturally beautiful sound with AudioQuest Rocket 88 Full-Range speaker cable. This flagship model from AudioQuest’s award-winning Rocket Series incorporates Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation, Direction-Controlled conductors, and a patented 72v Dielectric-Bias System (DBS) that work together to minimize dielectric noise and improve wide-bandwidth dissipation of induced radio-frequency noise. Rocket 88 features high-quality plugs and uses Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors in a Double Star-Quad configuration to minimize distortion. Rocket 88 is available in Full-range, Single-BiWire, or Single-BiAmp configurations, and can be terminated with gold- or silver-plated banana plugs or spade lugs. Combining premium materials and meticulous design, AudioQuest Rocket 88 is an exceptional choice for high-performance stereo systems and home theaters.

Here is a breakdown of what makes the Rocket 88 unique:

  1. Superior Metallurgy (PSC+)
The most significant upgrade from the lower Rocket 44 model is the metal. The Rocket 88 uses 100% Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+).

  2. Dielectric-Bias System (DBS)
The most visually distinct feature is the battery pack (72V DBS) attached to the cable.

  3. Double Star-Quad Geometry
The internal layout of the wires isn't just a simple twist. It uses a Star-Quad arrangement where the relationship between the conductors is precisely managed.

  4. Versability and Bi-Wiring

The Rocket 88 is a "Single-BiWire" cable by design. Inside the sleeve, it actually has two separate sets of conductors (one optimized for treble, one for bass).
