The Hegel V10 represents a modern evolution of classic phono preamplification. Drawing on thirty years of mastery in discrete transistor circuitry, we have engineered a preamplifier that stands alone in its class. Characterized by its neutrality and breathtaking transparency, the V10 is the culmination of our lifelong pursuit of sonic perfection. Every design choice serves a singular purpose: to reach deep into the vinyl grooves and unveil the music in its purest, most intimate form.

The V10 follows Hegel’s minimalist aesthetic with a half-width chassis and a matte black/gray finish. Its internal architecture is what truly sets it apart

Physical Isolation: The chassis is divided into two separate compartments. One side houses the power supply components, and the other contains the sensitive amplification circuitry. This physical barrier ensures that electrical noise from the power side doesn't leak into the audio signal

Dual-Mono Layout: It features a strictly dual-mono design to maximize channel separation and soundstage width

Linear Power Supply: It uses an external "wall-wart" linear AC power supply equipped with a custom-designed E-core transformer. Uniquely, the cable splits into two separate plugs that connect to the unit, providing independent power feeds to the left and right channels
