Vodka eARC features 10% Silver eARC conductors and 5% Silver Ground-Reference conductors with Level-3 Noise Dissipation.
- Silver Plating for Clarity: While digital signals are 1s and 0s, they travel as analog waveforms. AudioQuest uses a thick (10%) silver plating because high-frequency signals travel almost exclusively on the surface of the conductor. This provides a performance close to solid silver at a lower price point, resulting in improved timing and reduced jitter.
- Directionality: All 19 conductors in the cable are "direction-controlled." During manufacturing, the metal is drawn in a specific direction; AudioQuest listens to the grain structure and orients the cable so that noise is specifically directed away from vulnerable circuits.
- Noise Dissipation: Level 3, which uses a carbon-layer, a metal-layer, and direction-controlled conductors to drain radio-frequency interference.
