Product Description
BassZilla with RF/ND-Tech is engineered specifically for the bass and midrange inputs of bi-wireable and tri-wireable loudspeakers. When paired with ThunderBird XTRM or Dragon XTRM ZERO-Tech on the treble input, it delivers exceptional system balance and clarity.
BassZilla drastically reduces performance-limiting RF noise using a advanced Carbon-Based Mesh-Network, direction-controlled Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors, AudioQuest’s 72V Dielectric-Bias System (DBS), and No-Grain Silver (NG-S) shield drains.
Why BiWiring Matters
Separating the bass and treble signal paths prevents high-energy low frequencies from modulating sensitive treble signals—much like smoothing out choppy water before swimming. The result is a cleaner, more focused treble and midrange response across a wider soundstage. While the physical bass signals remain unchanged, the enhanced definition of upper-bass harmonics makes the overall low end sound significantly tighter and more impactful.
Key Technologies
-
RF/ND-Tech (Ground-Noise Dissipation): Prevents cable ground leads from acting as antennas. Using a common-mode phase-canceling array, it draws induced RF energy away from the amplifier, allowing the amp’s circuits to operate with far lower distortion. (Note: Because of this extreme focus, Bass-Only cables are band-limited to 10kHz and below—do not run them full-range or on treble drivers.)
-
ZERO-Tech: By eliminating characteristic impedance mismatches, ZERO-Tech enables unrestricted, uncompressed transient current transfer and linear RF dissipation.
-
Solid PSC+ Conductors: Pure solid-core copper eliminates strand interaction and grain-boundary distortion for maximum signal integrity.
-
72V DBS with RF Noise-Trap: Saturates cable insulation to minimize dielectric noise and improve wide-bandwidth noise dissipation.
-
Permanent Molecular Optimization (PMO): Pre-conditions the conductors with high-frequency AC signals, significantly shortening burn-in time and cutting transient intermodulation distortion.
-
Cold-Welded Red Copper Terminations: Direct-silver plated connections avoid heat and distortion-causing solder, while non-metallic plug casings prevent RF induction.
-
Direction-Controlled Conductors: Conductors are oriented according to their natural grain structure to channel RF noise safely away from sensitive audio circuitry.
