Product Description
The KEF Blade Two Meta is a ultra-high-end floorstanding loudspeaker, designed to deliver state-of-the-art acoustic accuracy in a package scaled for typical residential room sizes.
Key Technologies & Innovations
The Blade TWO Meta is built on three core engineering pillars:
1. Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT™)
The defining feature of the "Meta" upgrade is a synthetic labyrinthine structure positioned behind the tweeter dome. This maze-like disc absorbs 99% of unwanted rearward high-frequency sound—acting like an acoustic black hole—which virtually eliminates high-frequency distortion and harshness.
2. Single Apparent Source
KEF aligns all frequencies to appear as if they emanate from a single point in space.
- 12th Gen Uni-Q® Driver Array: The 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter sits at the exact acoustic center of the 5-inch midrange cone.
- Four 6.5-inch Bass Drivers: Two pairs of opposing woofers are mounted on the sides of the cabinet, placed symmetrically around the central Uni-Q driver.
This point-source alignment yields hyper-precise soundstaging, pinpoint instrument localization, and a seamless transition across the frequency spectrum.
3. Force-Cancelling Bass Architecture
The four side-firing bass woofers are mounted back-to-back in opposing pairs. As the woofers push and pull, their mechanical kinetic forces cancel each other out internally rather than vibrating the cabinet walls. This allows massive low-end output without cabinet coloration or blur.
