KEF Ventura 6

The KEF Ventura 6 is a premium, passive outdoor speaker designed to deliver high-performance audio in open-air environments like patios, pool decks, gardens, or marine environments.

Core Audio Architecture

Unlike KEF’s famous indoor speakers, which use their signature coaxial "Uni-Q" driver arrangement, the Ventura 6 opts for a standard two-way traditional layout. This setup is better optimized for throwing sound cleanly across wide, open spaces.

• The Woofer: It features a 6.5-inch (160mm) long-throw low-frequency driver with an injection-molded polypropylene cone and a rubber surround. Being the largest in the family, it handles the low-end much better than compact outdoor speakers, offering solid mid-bass punch.
• The Tweeter: It uses a 1-inch (25mm) anodized aluminum dome tweeter that is liquid-cooled with ferrofluid. The fluid keeps the tweeter from overheating, greatly increasing its power handling capacity and reliability under continuous heavy use.
• IP65 Certified: This independent rating ensures the cabinet is completely dust-tight and resistant to low-pressure water jets (rain, heavy storms, and hose splashes).
• Salt-Spray Tested: It has been subjected to over 1,200 hours of continuous direct salt-spray testing, meaning it will not corrode if mounted near ocean air or saltwater pools.
• Extreme Temperatures: It is rated to operate anywhere from a freezing -40°C (-40°F) to a scorching +70°C (158°F).
