The Vicoustic Wavewood Ultra Lite is the budget-friendly, "lite" version of Vicoustic’s most iconic acoustic panel. It is designed to provide high-quality sound treatment with a focus on medium-frequency absorption while maintaining the aesthetic of the professional Wavewood line.
Design and Build
The "Ultra Lite" version swaps some of the premium finishes for more cost-effective materials, making it accessible for home studios and hi-fi rooms without sacrificing the brand's visual identity.

Front Surface: Made from Standard MDF with a melamine/HPL (High-Pressure Laminate) finish. It features the signature non-linear sequential slots that characterize the Wavewood series.
- Core Material: Uses Polyurethane Foam for the actual sound absorption (whereas the higher-end "VicPattern Ultra" series often uses VicPET Wool).
Acoustic Performance
The Wavewood Ultra Lite is primarily an absorber, though its slotted design offers some incidental diffusion for high frequencies, preventing the room from sounding completely "dead."
