KEF

KEF (Kent Engineering & Foundry) is a renowned British manufacturer of high-end audio equipment, particularly known for pioneering speaker acoustic engineering, advanced materials science, and modern active hi-fi systems.

Founded in 1961 by former BBC electrical engineer Raymond Cooke in Maidstone, Kent, KEF built its reputation on applying rigorous scientific methods—rather than trial-and-error—to loudspeaker design.
